A & T Carpentry offer a professional fitting service for all internal wooden doors. Our team of highly skilled carpenters have many years of experience and knowledge behind them. We provide a comprehensive fitting service for homeowners right across the Midlands. - Choose your new door from our wide selection of styles.
- Select your door handles and fittings.
- Recieve our quote and arrange a detailed survey to measure on site.
- Arrange a convenient time for fitting.
Our Promise of Quality
Door Fitting
We will..
- Fit with an even gap of between 2-4mm on all sides. The exception to this is bathroom and airing cupboards where 10mm is required for ventilation.
- Ensure clearance between the door and door stop to allow for paint thickness where necessary.
- Finish your door with your choice of polyurethane varnish or highly duranle oil.
- The bottom of the door will be sealed to prevent moisture rising.
- Securely fit handles. Grub screws will be tigtened and bonded to prevent rattle.
- Ensure all door furniture is level to the eye
- Flush fill all existing hinge, latch and lock holes ready for painting.

- Cover all carpets and hard floors with an appropriate covering for protection from dust and any finishes that need to be applied..
- Dust sheets will be used to protect areas around the working area.
- As much of the work and fitting will be completed outdoors under a weatherproof cover to reduce the ampunt of dust inside your property as much as possible.
